
Booking Terms and Conditions
By paying your booking fee you agree to the terms and conditions as set out below.
Booking Process
To secure a booking, the Client must provide all required information and pay a non-refundable booking fee of £50 of the total amount. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the said fee and a booking confirmation email will be sent to the Client.
Services
We will provide disco/DJ services. Any additional Services that are not included in the initial booking may be available at an additional cost.
Client Requirements
1. The Client is responsible for ensuring the venue can accommodate the service, including space, power requirements, and accessibility. The CLIENT warrants that they are entitled to use the venue for the purposes of the event and performance and that the event does not breach any law, bye-law or conditions imposed on the property.
2. Permissions: The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions or licenses for the event. Licences for the performance of recorded music are only required at public events. In most cases private parties, such as wedding receptions, birthdays etc which are invitation only and attract no entrance fee do not require a licence. It is the CLIENTS responsibility to obtain such licences if required.
3. Electricity Requirements: We will require access to a properly earthed mains electricity supply, sufficient to allow safe usage of the required equipment for the performance. If the supply is inadequate, then the amount of equipment may be reduced. If DAB considers that the electricity supply or any other aspect of the event is unsafe then they reserve the right to refuse to start or continue the performance after consultation with the CLIENT.
4. Supervision: The CLIENT is responsible for providing adequate supervision of all guests, staff and customers at the venue and will be liable for any loss or damage to equipment caused by guests, staff or customers.
Cancellation and Refunds
If the Client cancels the booking, the booking fee is non-refundable. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event may be subject to additional charges.
In the unlikely event Drop a Beat Entertainment have to cancel the booking for any reason, we will provide a full refund, including the booking fee, however, DAB will not incur any additional liability for non-appearance. We will always endeavor to find another company to fulfill the event where possible.
Liability and Insurance
Limitation of Liability: Drop a Beat Disco will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
Insurance: We maintain appropriate insurance for our services. Clients are encouraged to have event insurance.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is caused by unforeseeable events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics.
GDPR -Data Protection
We will comply with applicable data protection laws regarding the handling of personal information.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
